Ronald McDonald House Within The Hospital

Located inside Golisano Children's Hospital at Strong, the Ronald McDonald House Within the Hospital provides accommodations for parents and adult caregivers of patients in the Pediatric Intensive Care and Neonatal Intensive Care units.

 

Accommodations:

Seven private bedrooms with private bath and shower. 

In-room phones with direct access to child’s unit.

Kitchen stocked with snacks and beverages.

Lounge area with reading material and a television.

Laundry facilities.

Who can stay?

Two parents or adult caregivers of a critically ill or injured pediatric patient when the child's medical acuity warrants their immediate access to the child.

Eligibility

This House serves families of the most critically ill or injured children.

Eligibility is determined by the staff  of Golisano Children’s Hospital at Strong.

Families of pediatric patients with any medical diagnosis are eligible.

Local and out-of-town families are eligible for accommodations at the House Within the Hospital.

Office Hours:

Twenty-four hours a day seven days a week.  Check-ins are available throughout the day. Availability is evaluated daily by Social Work. 

Cost:

No payment is required.  A $10 donation per night's stay is appreciated.
